Couples seeking romance beware! !

The private onsen was a game changer for our relaxation! ! We could soak in the steaming water while enjoying the beautiful Japanese garden right outside our window.

It wasn’t budget-friendly, but still tolerable for the experience we had.

We had a fantastic stay at Shoenso Hozugawatei! The family room was spacious and comfortable, offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. The traditional kaiseki cuisine served during dinner was a delightful culinary experience, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The service from the staff was outstanding, always attentive and friendly.

The onsen was a bit crowded at times.

the room was a bit noisy at night from neighbors, but the private open-air bath was super relaxing next to a lovely garden. breakfast was amazing, and the amenities like the yukata and facial products were a great touch!

I had a fabulous stay with a traditional onsen experience and excellent food. however, I was disappointed by the shuttle service. Would definitely return!

However, the limited transportation options made it a bit challenging to explore the area freely.
